I have always loved animals. When I was in 3rd grade, I started fostering dogs that were rescued from the meat trade and abusive homes in China. From there, I continued to volunteer to work with animals who needed to find their forever homes. In Jordan, I began volunteering regularly to help take care of the animals, raise awareness, and take photographs to get them adopted. For service week at school, I participated in a week-long project to help trap, neuter, and release (TNR) stray cats in Jordan in an effort to ensure they were healthy and did not contribute to the ever growing population.
